i wish i could send a pic...not computer savvy...so please settle for discription.
It looks almost like a new long-needled pine with tiny, tiny tiny yellow flowers growing at the tips. the flowers only open up in the morning, it was growing in sandy soil on a construction job site. like i said it looks like a clump of long pine needles. about 8" tall. hubby just loves to bring me some unusal things home Duh

Sounds like eupatorium capillifolium 'dog fennel', but that has white flowers.

no direct hits, but some look close. in the mean time, i'll just pot it and love it! cool when i get handy with a camera and sending pictures i'll try again. its just so different looking i can't let it go!

close but no cigar! its hard to explain, except that looks like long pine needles with tiny yellow flowers at the tips. my son is visiting tomorrow, he'll show me how to send pics. but thanks for still trying!
