I just bought a 30cm draceana marginata from a nearby store and I don't know anything about its maintenence. Duh If anyone could help me I would like to know about how often does it need watering and whatever other aspects I should know about.

welcome!

water thoroughly and then let the soil dry out a bit (an inch or so down) and then water...in the warmer months, it should be kept a bit more moist (don't let the soil dry too much).

it should be kept in a spot where it gets bright light.

watering is very crucial especially if your keeping indoors and not in a greenhouse. makesure that the soil has very little and constant moisture...i.e. the soil should be loose and cool to the touch. do not drench the soil. or rot will soon follow...

i deal with these plants all the time as a part of my job... let me know if you have anymore questions
