I have kept one in cold GH.let go dormant& sprouts in spring when temps warm up.keep on dry side.My temps do dip close to freezeing but only a short time and rarely longer than 6 hours.I didn't track temps in the garage.I was also informed no plants would go in there next year(yeah ok....well see,but If I need garage I'm taking it.) For me they do better in ground.pots will go through more water I think,but their soil is warmer sometimes too.
