at the link in my previous post.
We have centipedegrass, so in the lawn area, we've used Atrizine,
which was recommended by several local nurserymen.
It works pretty well, but even after several applications,
the Betony is still not
all gone.
We can't use an herbicide in the
flower beds though,
so I am constantly digging and pulling by hand.
(I hope, I hope, I hope!)
If you dig the tubers up, whatever you do,
DO NOT put them into your compost.
I tie them up in garbage bags and put them out with the garbage.
The good news is (???) that Betony will go dormant when the weather heats up . . .
. . . but it will be back.
It's a grueling job.
