I am thinking about what I would like to plant in my garden, I know, it's still early, I would like to know if anyone has ever had yellow raspberries, and if they have, do they produce well? I am interested in the variety Ann, good for zones 4-9. Hannah

OK...guess that answers my question! Has anyone stumbled across any websites with information on Yellow/Golden Raspberries?

I have a few fall gold plants that I cant seem to get to take off! They havent spread, and I get just a tiny handfull of berries each year. I think there is a trick to them, like maybe they bear on 2 year wood, something like that?

Have you done a google search? Im sure you'll find plenty of info that way.

Rasberries require a (loamy) soil to spread. I planted 2 bushes and had rasberries like crazy. Loamy is a 50/50 mix of soil and peat moss, with good drainage. Be patient because they do grow on 2 year wood. trim back the old wood every year (the 2 year stuff). I had relatives and neighbors picking them because I had so many. They were a red variety. Then my dog mowed them down. I want to grow more now that the poor dog is gone to dog heaven.
