I have a small area of Zenith Zoysia in my yard and about 3 weeks ago it started to develop brownish spots on the individual blades and the green color is fading.
I planted the area in mid June and it has done better than expected. All I can attribute to this is that the spots started showing up about a week after the first cutting. Additionally the blade on the lawn mower was very dull.
Up until the first cutting it was a nice shade of green and looked very healthy.
Is there something wrong with the grass or is it starting to go dormant for the season?
