laugh laugh I was wondering what was going on in my pond too! sca

I'm pretty sure it's dead....I poked it with the net and it didn't move.....I left it there so Mark could take it out because it grosses me out.

I should've said, it's about 3-4 inches long.

Sheeze! If it's dead, you'd think it would have the decency to close it's eyes! [Linked Image] CREEPY! (Lots smaller than I thought! It's more like 7", here on my screen!) laugh

Okay, Mark took it out of the pond and said it was a snail out of its shell...I have a ton of those mystery snails in there....seems like a good answer to me....He threatened to throw it at me when he scooped it out and I would've beat him if he did---he thinks he's funny! :p

It's just a snail Loz, we in Holland call it a naked snail (well to say it in Dutch a naaktslak... laugh laugh )

I have one hiding in my kitchen frown ......... There is evidence of it's presence (on the kitchensink....), but it's a clever thing! I will get him/her eventually though!

paulien, put out a dish (something that has very low sides and will be easy to climb into) with some beer in it...those things like the smell and will climb in and then die.

they look pretty funky when they shrivel up tho...if you can deal with it then that's the way to catch the bugger! smile
