I have 2 hibiscus that are about 5 years old. They appear very healthy and produce new growth every year but they don't bloom. What's the problem?

Just out of curiousity, do you prune them???

What's the soil like?

Are they in full sun?

Do you ferilize them, if so, what kind(s)??

How do I know if they are hardy or tropical for sure? Sorry...I have so many questions.
I have 2 in my house that must be tropical, or
can hardy ones be indoors.
My mom just gave me one that is like 3-4 ft. tall.
She said it doesnt fit in her house anymore. laugh
For now I put it on my deck, but would like to plant it in my yard. I live in Wi.(Brrrr) so I dont know.
She said it hasn't flowered in awhile.
HELP!!! nutz

The hardy Hibiscus are usually okay in zone 5 and I heard some even say zone 4, but I really don't know for sure. Duh Maybe it depends on the variety. wink
