At our Holiday luncheon at work a co-worker brought this dish in!! We were all impressed poor guy got bugged the rest of the day for the reciepe from many of us.. It's very good!!

Egg Noodle Kugel

Preheat oven to 350

16 oz egg noodles
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 large pkg Phil' cream cheese
2 eggs
1 small pkg vanilla pudding
1&1/2 tsp cinnamon
approx 2 cups of crumbed corn flakes

16 oz package of egg noodles boiled until JUST tender
While noodles are boiling..

blend..

1cup sugar
1 stick of butter
then 1 large pks Phil' creamed cheese then
add 2 eggs one at a time then
1 small package vanilla instant pudding and
1&1/2 tsp cinnamon
Mix this combination with well drained egg noddles and pour into glass pan or cassarole bowl
and cover top with cornflake crumbs enough to lightly cover.
bake untill golden brown approx 45 min although my co-worker says usually 1/2 hour is fine I can't remember if he said this reciepe is doubled or not He said he doubled it to bring to work and he brought it in a glass sheet cake pan, So when I make this on Moday I will just Eyeball it for the size pan I need.

It is very good and this reciepe is a keeper I'm sure I'll make it often!! thumbup

Another one that sounds so yummy!
Thanks so much for sharing this, Diane!
I'm going to have to give it a try - every year for Rosh HaShannah, my SIL - Don's sister - orders in some noodle pudding. But every single year, her helper forgets to put it out until we are soooooo full from eating after fasting all day, that it's hard to fit some in!

Now, you've encouraged me to try making it, even when it's not the holidays for us!
