I am in zone 4 so my annuals are now done. I am wondering if there is anything that I can plant now to add color to my front yard or is it too late? The temps are 30-40 degrees now. ters
I have a mum that I put out on the patio in the back, that is not looking so good.

You could plant pansies, snapdragons and ornamental kale.

Or do like my mom does,
she goes to the dollar store and grabs'
the nicer lookin' plastic flowers..
and some cute pots/containers..

And she stick them in the ground,
or the pots/containers,
and if it rains on them, or snows,
hails or whatever, it's no big deal..

But she's got some color,
and really pretty flowers out in front she can still gaze at..

*and she also sticks them into her flower pots
and sometimes in between when a flower isn't flowering,
they spuce up the container a bit...

I have pansies going right now and they are thriving with all the cool air we are getting now.
