hey! I don't have a pic right now because I haven't been able to get one yet but me and my mom have been noticing a pretty blue bird at the feeders lately with the goldfinches. It mostly goes to the suet feeder and we have no idea what it is. It's about the size of a goldfinch maybe a little bigger and it's a really pretty bright blue looking color. I don't think I've ever seen it before. I'll try to catch a pic of it tomorrow for ya'll and maybe that'll help a little. thanks! wavey

Sounds to me like a male Indigo Bunting. Do a Google Image Search on Indigo Bunting and see if that is what you saw. They also have a BEAUTIFUL song.

It's pure blue? No other color on its chest? Only asking 'cause I havent known buntings to be very interested in suet. bluebirds like suet.

thanks guys! I haven't been able to get a pic of it yet but I think the bunting is close to it. the only difference I think is that this bird is slender and not puffy looking like the bunting. I've only seen it from inside the house so I'll have to get a closer look. thanks!

Try a Blue Grosbeak also.
