OP glenda Member Joined: Jul 2006 uk	can anyone tell me the correct way to store squash, so that it lasts and does not deteriorate once it has been picked? And still on the same subject anyone have a good soup recipe? thanks folks!

Deborah L. Member Joined: Feb 2006 Southern California, USA	Hey, Weez, I read somewhere that a good way to get pumpkins and gourds to look nice for a long time, like when you're using them as decor, is to wash, dry well and coat them with Vaseline. What do you think? Makes sense or no?
