If you poke it around, does it stink? It looks like a citrus stink bug. Maybe known as something else in various parts of the planet but if so they are a sap sucker which will do damage to lush new growth on a variety of plants. Not a desirable insect to have.
Or i guess it could be a baby reindeer.....Like i'd know the difference!
