Every time I plant peas of any kind, I get a white powder on them. Is that powdery mildew?
My concern is that the mildew will "jump onto" my other plants.
Is that possible?

I've got some snow peas going and they do seem to have a powdery sheen. I'm not convinced that this is PM or that it is even a problem. If the plants are growing, flowering or setting pods, I think we're both OK. Mine have climbed up to about 5.5' and are starting to flower.
