And if you grow that lettuce and let it over winter, you'll end up with
seeds....
I put a tarp over my romaine lettuce and swiss chard for the winter, and I had my swiss chard and romaine both give me
seeds...
I only did it once with the romaine..
but I might think in your area it would over winter better/easier...
And when it did
seed, I ended up having a free year of more veggies that I didn't sow, but I don't like doing that putting things in the same place... so this year, I did not put the tarp over it and will let them fend for themselves...
