This is the my first Brug. Some kind trader sent it to me because I mentioned I wanted to try one. After it bloomed last year I had to have more. I think they bloom better the second year because it is certainly putting out more blooms than it did last year.

I now have 7 Brugs it is my new obsession.

Afgrayparrot, I do not think it is the same. This one is solid pink/peach. Does it look the same to you?

Looks like yours is more pink inside than mine.

What is the name of that brug?
Are all the brugs you have the same kind?

Do you dig them all up in the winter and bring them inside?

Sorry about so many questions! laugh

Cindys looks like the unknown pink I sent her.It opens wide.

***GF I like that shot.you got the sun back there JUST right.like them red flowers too.How tall did that one get?

Cinta I'm still trying to get your 1st shot to load.I'm going to stop multitasking so many things and try another look.BUT It is different than any pinks I sent Cindy.I'm gonna look in your albulm too.I can't tell how your flower normally hangs from the 2nd shot.I can guess insignis type, but only if hangs horizonal
also it could be cross of insignis with unknown. It would pick up some triats of each parent.

It got exactly 7' last year...because I have 7' ceilings, and when I brought them in they touched the ceiling.
This year they are taller...gonna have to do some cutting back I guess so they will fit in the house. laugh I have a 4' plant light (2 bulbs) in the corner behind Lola's TV for the brugs.

I have the Stuggart in morning sun afternoon shade. It does great in as long as I keep it in bog conditions.

Thanks for the info on the Brug. I have no idea of its name. It was given to me in a trade.

The others I have are some I am testing for a friend. He requested I do not trade them until he finishes his test. These are some mixes of German pollen. Hoping to see some doubles out of them.

Thats cool to be testing. We can trade with no restrictions for pollen& seeds from germany but the plants have to quarintined& have to have a certificate to leave the country.I have a KBSxButterfly seedling I'm growing. The KBS is german (can't pronounce so KBS is easier to get out.)Germany is starting to produce alot more of the doubles and are getting some triples, but alot more of them are getting into the states& will be availeable in a few years.I joined BGI so thats helped me learn alot.I got 5 seedling plants from a white suavXunknown.1 has set buds so am excited....plus each plant from that batch is different.

Cindy........I'm glad they grew tall for you.Be sure when trimming that you leave your 'Y' at least some of it.
So whats Loloa like to watch on TV?My rotti likes CSI,charmed& L&O...she sings with the music too.

I wish I could leave mine in the ground I took all mine in for the winter. I left two out. They were ready to bloom before I had to go on a Business trip this week and I wanted to see what color they were. I hope the frost did not get it last night.
