Anybody have any advice on whatI can do to save my most favorite African Violet that has recently picked up a nasty mealy bug infestation from a nearby plant? I can use insecticide on the other plant that has the mealy bugs but not the AV...any help would greatly be appreciated, this AV is a pale white with ruffled edges laced with purple & I would hate to lose it...
Thanks!!!

oh! that sounds like a beautiful av!!!

use q-tips and rubbing alcohol. dip the q in the ra and spot treat the bugs - rub them a bit to remove them from the plant. you can do this for both the av and the other plant.
