My shasta daisies are blooming for the first time. clp Also some daisy-like mums are blooming at the same time. I am so happy I thought I'd share. I thought the shasta daisies would bloom in spring. Do they bloom twice a year?

They are absolutely gorgeous! I like the tree stump thing behind the daisies, it looks so country, great feel!

Thanks. The tree stump is actually a tree that blew down in hurricane Floyd. The tree was curved from living in the wind so when it blew down it was an arc. Our dogs started climbing it to get a better look at things so we hauled in dirt to cover the roots better. There were still some roots sticking up so I planted the flowers around them. I think the tree is slowly dying but it still is green and puts out new leaves and such. The other flowers are petunias, zinnias, black eyed susans and mums.
