My Hawaiian Pothos is looking pretty bad! I have it in a hanging basket indoors, next to a window that gets indirect sunlight all day (never bright sunlight). At first I thought the soil was too dry, as the leaves were turning yellow, a few leaves each day. Then, I repotted it, fed it and started watering it more. It seemed to be getting too much water. All this time I am pulling five or six yellowed leaves off each day! It started out full, with long trailing vines full of leaves. Now the pot looks barer and barer each day. I have no idea how to perk up this plant. I think it may be planted in a too-shallow pot, but none of the roots are hanging out. I even took it out on the terrace to get a little sunshine, to no avail! I don't know what else to try, but it's failing fast! Help!

Initially, the yellow leaves may have been caused by the soil getting too dry. However, the solution was to water more frequently, not repotting.

Not only did the repotting stress the plant, it is also probably responsible for the soil and roots staying moist for too long. Root rot may now be the cause of the yellowing leaves.
