tkhooper Official Blabber Mouth T Joined: Mar 2005 triangle, virginia	ok I'll try. 5 gallons (US DRY Measurement) equals 1,344 cubic inches, or .77778 cubic feet, or 22,024.419 cubic centimeter http://www.onlineconversion.com/volume.htm is the conversion website I use for those kinds of things. I hope this will help you some.

Round pots are measured in inches using the inside diameter of the top rims of the pots. Capacity is the amount of soil needed to fill up the pots. Measurements/Capacities Inches [Centimeters] = Cup/qt/gal [liters] ----------------------------------------- 3" [7.60cm] = 1 Cup [.24 liter] 4" [10.16cm]= 2.5 cups [0.60 liter] 5" [12.70cm] = 1 quart. [.94 liter] 6" [15.24cm] = 2.5 quarts. [2.35 liters] 8" [20.32cm] = 1 gallon [3.76 liters] 10" 25.40cm] = 2.25 gallons [8.46 liters] 12" [30.48cm] = 3.5 gallons [13.16 liters] 14" [35.56cm] = 6 gallons [22.56 liters] Hope this helps.
