Anybody have any idea what this is? I have found it on all of my veggies! If I didn't know any better I'd say it was an alien species taking over the world one garden at a time!

Sorry it's not the best pic in the world but it was the best out of a dozen.

Gmom, I have the weirdest bugs too. I tried finding yours (google), to no avail. It's freaky-cool looking! LOL! My first thought when I see a weird bug is 'hmm, friend or foe?' I hope someone comes along who can identify your little flying alien. Those are wings, right?

From what I can make out in the picture it looks almost like an Assassin Bug.. Eats other bugs, all sorts of other bugs. It injects a venom into it's prey like a spider and as the prey bugs insides begin to dissolve it sucks it out. Good bug, but it can bite people too, careful.......

Here is a picture of one.....

The coloring is similar but it's body is shaped more like an ant and it doesn't have wings. It is NOT a friendly bug grinnnn

I'm gonna guess it's a Leaffooted Bug Nymph. Easily mistaken for an Assassin Bug.

The adults look much different...

This is not a good bug.....

THATS IT! Thanks squints thumbup

Now I got to find a way to get rid of them. I've been using a "hot pepper, soapywater" concoction and it's not working that well. Anybody have any ideas?
