After seeing the raised beds that Weezie has in her garden, I am wondering how much better they are to care for than planting in the ground. I like the look of them. And think that weeding, planting and genarla care would be a lot easier than an in the ground garden.

The other question I have is what combination of dirt, compost, fertilizer or anything else do you fill them with?

I planted some plants last year and this fall I am digging up many to move around. I find a lot of them can not fully grow because of so many invasive unwanted roots, I trying to put my plants in a gardening textile now. I hope that next year they will grow better without any other roots competition.
