Chefmomof3,
Boy can I relate to your name....LOL!!!

Anyhow, questions.... the potting soil...
What was the name of it??
And what was in it???

Some newer potting soils have the polymer
crystals for absorbing water and it holds the
water in the general area for the plant to use..

But sometimes, it's not needed...because of
different things, too much rain, or clay under
it to hold the water in... too much mulch on top
to hold too much moisture in..
And could also be the time of day you water...
What time of day do you water???

Also, the new potting soil have extra nitrogen in
them...sometimes, the extra in the soil and then
the extra you put in with the Jerry Baker formula
over did it...

Let me know what kind of dirt you used..
And what was in the Jerry Baker formula..
