OP TheGardenerGuy Member Joined: Apr 2003 Northern Illinois	Hi.... My mom received a calla lily for Mothers Day. Its still blooming and pretty. Can it be moved outside or should it stay as a houseplant? We are in zone 5a. Thanks much! Greg

Anonymous Unregistered A	you can put it in a pot and take it in and out. i have a bunch of calla, cannas, and other lilies in pots... not due to the weather, but due to the lack of beds! the pots work great if they are deep enough, and have enough drainage.
