Hello!
I am a new member and live in southern Ontario. I love to spend time in the garden, but it has been soooo hot here! I wonder if anyone call tell me why my red hot poker will not bloom? Had it 2 years now and never seen a bloom!

Hello! wavey

I'm Jenn. Glad ya found the forum! Stick around and ask questions, help people out with mysteries, or just chat a while. There are some others on the forum from Canada.

I looked for some info for you. I thought for sure that I saw another post about the Red Hot Poker somewhere on the forum, but I couldn't find it in my rush to get back to you. Here is a link to some info that is on The Garden Helper.

This is the first year I planted Red Hot Poker.
Always saw them in the catalogs but never took a shot until this year. I hope I planted in the right spot because I only have leaves so far, but I know its early in Northern zone 6.

This info has been a great help to me.
THANKS
