Hello,

I have a pachira that is several years old - tall with luscious green new growth - however older growth has yellow splotches and all growth is oozing sapp that beads when it dries.

I saw someone else posting on this board about their oozing pachira but they received no responses. Anybody know anything about this? I'm suspecting some sort of insect but I'm fairly clueless.

Thanks,
warbler

WARBLER713 From what I understand oozing can be caused from mite infestation. as well as other issues> I'm not sure if that's the cause of your problem but here's a site that tells about water descretion or oozing I really don't know if that helps you , but It may give you a lead on what to look for...

If this answers your question then clp if not then I'll keep looking because I've wanted a paricha for a while and with two of you experiencing the same thing, then I need to look into it as well before purchasing one. idea
