hi, i'm new at this and i want to ask someone out there what to do with my sago palm. this is my first winter with this plant. It was beautiful over the summer in my sunroom but now the bottom layer of leaves is turning yellow. Too much water or not enough?? Can anyone help??

Mine was doing the same thing. I read around on the internet and discovered that I was underwatering the plant. I found that if I keep the soil of my palm slightly moist then it seems happier. Hope this helps. wink

hi!
another thing with sago palms is that after the top leaves grow in, sometimes the bottom ones will fall off. But ya, keep the soil well drained, but moist, and lotsa sun, and it should be a happy plant ^.^
