Hi Franny,

I hope they grow for you. I've never done fruit from seed. I can't even get the avocado to grow for me. But I'll cross my fingers for you.

My mom always tells me the story of her mom's peach tree. One day she was eating a peach and it tasted so good she decided to plant it, and my mom said she grew the best peaches from the tree that came up from that seed. Good luck with it! wink

To TK,

To sprout an avocado seed, stick 4 toothpicks into the sides. Then suspend the seed, point up, inside a glass about an 1/2 inch under the water level. Roots will grow into the water.

Sorry Fancine but for a tree you need I think 50 years or more. The seed in the glass type thing is just for a vine. I don't believe they will fruit that way at all. I could be horrible wrong about that part. We'll have to ask someone who knows bunches more than I do. Remember I'm just a beginner lol.

That is fantastic Mike. I could never do that. I'd end up missing fingers. You should see the damage I can do in a kitchen. I am really envious though. I would love to have a talent like that.

Hey Mike I crochet maybe we can trade? lol. Well you did say you didn't sell them so it was just a thought. I wonder what all you could come up with if you had one of those drexel thingy-ma-bobbers hehehehe. Your so lucky you don't live anywhere near me. I'd be driving you crazy everyday to try and teach me that stuff. I've always wanted to learn. But didn't know any patient person who would teach. Dad and Frank were both the grumpy sorts so I always stayed out of their way when they were doing something. Religated to fixing meals and cleaning up the mess from the projects. Hohum.
I love your stuff.

I went grocery shopping today and came come with a versatool. See what a bad influence you are on me mike. This one is suppose to do candle carving, wood burning, Stencil cutting, soidering and transfers. I bet I can get in all kinds of trouble with this.

So if you don't hear from me for a few days you have to come rescue me from my new hobby lol. Do you ever wonder how these strings never make it down to arts and crafts? lol

Have a great weekend.
