Mexican Mint, I probably will need the scientific name for this one as well but maybe someone will know it and the watering requirements? I hope so cause I sure like the mints.

As with most mints, it needs good drainage and full sun with not a lot of water. Too much can kill it.

Wow i'M so suprised that you knew that one. I couldn't find it but then I'm a super google dummy. I think everytime I type in that little box my fingers knot and I hit all the wrong keys.

Do you think I could grow it inside?

It could be difficult to grow it inside because of it's need for sunlight. Using grow lights might help, or a very sunny window. Starting it from seed inside is a different matter. That is definitely possible. Once again, grow lights would be helpful.

Thanks Alan,

I'll start it indoors but move it outdoors then. It will look good in the herb garden I'm sure. I love gardening. It's so much fun to plan and plant and grow and harvest. I love it.

I just finished harvesting a bunch of cinnamon basil for drying and found that a second plant of the four seeds I planted had decided to sprout. So I transplanted it into it's own pot and if it grows I'll have one plant for seeds and one for leaves.
