I found this forum and website as I was looking for information about growing lavender in SW Florida. I brought some cuttings back with me from Ohio where I had successful gardening of lavender. Last month I brought back one cutting and while I was out of town the little sprig died.

I am an in-between gardener but have been gardening since my grandmother convinced me I had a "green thumb" when I was five. It has been hit or miss, mostly hit, and I have grown veg, fruits, hundreds of plant types but all was done in Cleveland, Ohio. Now I am trying my intuition and love of plants in central Florida.

This is the first forum I have ever tried.

Thank you for reading.
