I know marigolds are really common but I love to see full marigold blooms all together. I planted all of these in my backyard from seeds I harvested the year before.

Those look great! Good job JustAGirl! My hubby loves marigolds. They are his favorite so every year we have a number of plants around the garden. They are so bright and cheery. smile

Those look great!!!!
And don't forget to deadhead,
you'll end up with a ton more flowers..
and if you time the deadheading just right,
you'll end up with a boat load of seeds!!!

Thanks for the pictures..
We love them here!!!

And they are one of the best flower seeds
for kids to start too...
Just plunk them in the soil and sprouting
before you know it...

And for repotting, they are also one of the
best for kids, as they root all along the stem
so, if a kiddo pushes them a littttttttttle too deep, they'll grow just fine....

Heck for the seed pods, I've deadheaded, and thrown the seed pod on top of the soil, and they've sprouted from there... honestly...

(Cosmos's also root up the stem and so do
argeratiums..)

This time of year marigolds look their best. The heat is over and they just keep blooming with little care
