OP matilda Junior Member M Joined: May 2005 Illinois	I HAD TO MOVE MY CLEMATIS TODAY (MAY 21) TO PUT UP A NEW FENCE. THEY ARE SEVERAL YEARS OLD AND HAD QUITE A FEW BUDS ON THEM. HAVE I KILLED THEM???? THANKS

elliesue Junior Member E Joined: Aug 2004 Columbus, Ohio	Hi Matilda. I don't know much about growing clematis at all, but I found some info you might find interesting. Log onto: http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/1000/1247/html It kind of sounds like transplanting should be done before new growth appears. I sure hope yours does okay! Sue
