I have had a Madagascar Palm (rescued from Walmart) for about 1.5 years...its doing pretty good. I don't really know the proper way to care for it though...(watering sun etc...) does anyone else have one? If you do can you share your tips? wink

It's not a palm at all, that's a misleading common name, it's a pachypodium (PACHYPODIUM LAMEREI) that resembles but is not related to palms. Here are two sites that may help you.

little water.its a succulent.Did ya know they can grow 1 ft a year? And can grow as tall as 18 ft???(yeah 18 ft in the tropics)It CAN have a bloom thats white, but not likely on a container grown plant& its useually a mature plant grown in the ground THAT blooms. They are related to plumeria.
Their average size container grown are about 10 ft.They like a lot of sun.The coldest they take is 35.they are dorment in winter so don't need alot of water right now.
