Storm,
I have to say, I am a wild
flower weed lover..
With that said, I keep mine, as long as they're
in a place that won't be harmful to something else I like..(Like crowding other
plants out and too big for the area it's in..)
I always have at least one
growing here,
somewhere's..
*and yes they are of medicinal value,
I don't use them, but they are good
potiential in that factor.*
I've never found that
plant too invasive...
It's infant stage is very reconizable,
it looks like Lamb's Ear.
All soft and very fuzzy...
It does get very tall..one long slender stalk, and pretty yellow
flowers on it...
The beneficials like it...
I can re~
seed, but pull them up where you don't like them.. but get them young, as it has a very lonnnnnnnnnnnng tap root *drought tolerant
plant*
I've never had them get outta hand here...
Always a conversation with passing neighbors' who don't know what it is, as to how tall it is...
I would have to say, every gardener is different, and each has his/hers' own style.. and although I keep mine, as does Bill and Cricket, it may not be right for your garden...
But I could say, try it once, if it's a baby sized right now, "move it to the back 40" and leave it grow on the outskirts and give it a test run there..
Hope that helps a wee~bit more...
Weezie
