My new chinese hibiscus is dropping medium sized un-opened flower buds. I have been watering it like the directions told me and it's getting some real good direct morning sun and then bright indirect lighting. Am i doing something i shouldn't be??? Any help would be appreciated.

Take it outside - then in the fall when you bring in the sheaves, cut 'er back and keep her in that window.

Thanks Carly.
Should I let it sit in the sun all morning?
The only place I can put it outside is either on the back deck, which gets sun from sunrise to about 2:30-3:00 in the afternoon.
I just read some info from Mike57. I just got the plant from 1-800-flowers. I don't know if maybe I should fertilize it? What do you think?
Thanks again

I haven't fertilized mine since I got it about a month ago and she's doin' ok - new blooms every day.

Hibiscus loves the sun and drinks as much as you give 'er.

I find that my hibiscus like to be left in one place and not moved frequently. I have several different varieties and colors and some are pretty big but i still ahve them in pots. I have grouped them outside along the fence with the appropriate amount of sun and shade and I find they do better when not moved as much. When i have had to move them or repot that is when they don't produce flowers and even the leaves react. I have one that is a peach color and it is very particular. This year it only has flowered once and that was after having been in the same place for 9 months. Since I moved it to its present location it has refused to flower. All the others have flowered but this one is being stubborn. Hope this helps
