Hello!
I have had a medium-sized Yukka for about one yearnow. I have it located on the third floor of my home
in a well lit room, but it doesn't get much direct sunlight. In the year I have had it, I've noticed the leaves seem to have grown, but the height of the trunk has not grown substantially. At what rate do Yukka's
grow? Is the lack of direct sunlight impeding its growth? Any help or suggestions are appreciated!!
Thanks!

Jimmy,

The growth rate of potted plants varies considerably with the intensity and quality of the light, the quality of the soil, the size of the root system compared to the size of the pot, and how well you water. Of these, light is the most important factor.

Your Yucca will grow faster in direct sun. Contrary to popular belief, a large pot will not aid growth (unless it is badly potbound) because most of the plants energy will go into filling the pot with roots rather than growing taller.
