I was getting the trash to the curb this morning and look who showed up on my doorstep.

[Linked Image]

It is a male and is VERY friendly. No collar, and he wants to come inside....We'll see what Doug says! I want him. I miss having a Kitty...

Wrennie..{{A cheer up box dressed in fur}}..what a beautiful phrase!!!

Tonya, that is a beautiful kitten, so sweet looking, and such pretty color contrast.
Are you thinking of a name?

I'm afraid to name him in case Doug says no. I am thinking of some, though! thumbup

I like Wrennie's description....he did put a smile on my face, and seems to love it here- I have had to chase him out of the house a few times already! laugh laugh

Ya first outa find out if he does belong to someone. Cats like to wander theneighborhood and come into other peoples house. One of our neighbors has a tomcat named Oreo that visits just about every house in the neighborhood on a daily basis. he shows up on my front porch at 11:30 AM every day to sit on my lap as I watch birds. I look forward to his visits every day. I am a "Cat Person",(as well as being The Bird Man)

tonya, he is gorgeous!!!

he looks really healthy and he's friendly, so i doubt he's a stray - best to find out if he belongs to any of the neighbors before you decide to keep him.

he may have gotten out and just wanted to get back inside a nice warm house!!

He is MIA now. He is very "beat up" sores and scratches all over. If he does come back here- I will put up flyers at the local stores before keeping him. I know how I would feel if my kitty just disappeared. I wouldn't want to take a kitty away from someone or their kids. thumbup

Poor kitty....i agree with the flyers to try and see if he has a home, and if not, then he's yours!!!!

Tonya, you need to learn how this whole getting a new kitty thing works!!! laugh You find a kitty....you bring it home and care for it....show your hubby the "new addition" and don't give him a choice. That is how I got Thumbs and Snot. I found them, brought them home and took care of their sores, and when Stephen came home, I said "look what I found.....it was hurt and so I fixed him up and he's staying until I find their owner" well....we've had Thumbs for 5 years and Snot for 4 laugh laugh laugh I did look for the owner of Thumbs, but no body claimed him. Actually, I found him frozen to the road! Snot was just a barn cat and nobody cared what happend to her. Anyways, I hope you find him, for his sake...if he has sores and such.

He is a gorgeous cat.....does he have blue eyes???

He must have been set to you to cheer you up. Tell Doug the kitty makes you feel happy and if he goes you would be soooo upset... good luck. Im sure the kitty would love the care and attention... I hope no one claims him.

Doug needs to relax.....cats are self sufficient. They take care of themselves. Its not like the cat is going to be a burden or anything.

you should ask around the neighborhood and find out who's cat it is...if it's been hurt, i'm sure they'll want to take care of it.

and, if no one claims it, you'll just have to do it. can't let the poor injured kitty go about with untreated injuries, now can you???

*blinks innocently in doug's direction* angell
