It's supposed to start at sundown and have a red glow to it - hope it clears up here too - it was very clear and now has scattered clouds.

So Hadeda - what time was it when you posted here last?

Can you see the eclipse?

I can't see the moon at all - a lotta' thick clouds there.

We were out to the supermarket, then over to the donut shop (Coffee Time). I thought I'd see it then, but all I saw was cloud.

Usually when we have an eclipse, it's around midnight or so.

This was the moon about 10 minutes ago - the eclipse is on its way back out, as more moon is showing now.

This was towards the end of the eclipse.
Now it's over and the moon is very hazy.

Well needless to say, when this was all happening over there it was the middle of the afternoon here & we were all out pruning roses & playing in the dirt!

We have a clear sky here though. It's 56* outside right now, & the moon doesn't look like it was bothered at all! grinnnn

Darn, I wanted Keith to set up the telescope so I could take a pic of the full moon through it, but he's watching boxing & doesn't want to! :p (And I don't know how to work the lenses & the focus thingies... cuz he never lets me play with HIS toys!) [Linked Image]

Ah, then I did see it - that's what it looked like when the clouds moved enough to get a glimpse of the moon. I saw the tail end of it, I guess. When I saw the little piece cut out of it, I thought it was just the clouds.

Yes, the moon was very hazy.
