On this note - question.

My peat pots - when I move them to a bigger container - could I just put them in a hanging basket - the assortment of seedlings in peat pots that I want for my hanging basket arrangement?

I'm pretty sure you can! Just be sure to add some soil and not just the peat pots

thumbup yep. you can, and kenny is right. BUT, for faster acclimation to the pot, i'd use a sharp knife and poke holes in the peat pot.
