hello everyone,

first of all let me strart by saying that when you look at the pix.it s inversed of the way i posted it, so the 1 pix is the last one i posted(my bucket in the toy run album ).

i thought i would post some pix of our (keith and i along with where he works.) 5 th. annual toy run pokr runit was held yesterday, saturday the 26 th .

for those of you who don t know what a toy run is,let me take a few lines to explain.

it is first and most important a charity run for the kidz at the montreal children hospital, and done by a lot of very big harted bikers,so it s all done on motorcycles.it s our 5 th. in a row and we just love to organise it;the first 3 yrs. it was a toy run and then we added the poker run also to it.

when it was only the toy run.we d get at 7 am to the store to prepare everything in order to receive the bikers and their toys.they d arrive and while the toys and a group(mainly me ,keith and a few other volunteer would get truck loads of toy and things to the hospital, another group of us would leave with all the participants and ride nicely in the country a route that would finally take us to the hospital wher there would be toyss, music, mascot games and just a whole lot of fun giving toys ,smile and comfort to sick kidz, they re wouls also be tours of the bedridden kidz to give them toys.some years we were up to maybe 300 to 400 participants,2 years ago we were a bike convoy of 3 miles long, escoted by police (volunteer)blocking all access to our route so we d all ride toghetre),unfortunately i have yet to scan the picture in to the album but my scaner is on the fritz right now,but don t worry when it ll be ok i ll post it.

now for the last 2 years,we ve added the poker run;the only difference is that along with the toys, people buy a card with numbers on it,and instead of al leaving toghetr they leave at differents time (of their choice as long as it s in between 8 and 10 am ) they ve got a route to follow with 5 tcheckpoints where they stop to draw a number that is punched on their card and it takes them to the hospital(scenic route odabout 60 to 75 miles ) once there, they hand us their poker card and we calculate and when we got them all we give prises to the 10 best hand and we ve got game s and music and all lots a fun,all proceedes got for the kids, each year the hospital puts them to use on a different department.

we love doing this ,of course it s a lot of organisation but at the end of the day to see all those kidz smiling and even parents comein back each year and saying thank you...even this lady each year coming back and saying how the last 6 mounths o his son were the happyest because of us and how he add a new kinda idol inkeith...well somehow, woudln t you say it s kinda all wothwilw...i surely would!!!

enjoy the pictures and thank you for your time.

Franny
