We pulled another of our whirlwind trips up North this weekend. We ALWAYS find a couple of hours to stop in and see Bill though. His place is so beautiful in the fall. Well it is beautiful ANY time of the year but each season has its own awesomeness.

A shot of fall through the forest that we traipsed through.

So we spent a couple of hours with Bill, enjoyed a couple cups fo coffee and hiking in the woods. He got rain up there so the ponds were full and it was so good to see water up there after the dry summer conditions.

Bill gave the "kids" some YUMMY candy. I think I have a new favorite. And yes, I did share with the kiddos, they love chocolate too! laugh

Thanks Bill for letting us invade again! kissies

They are Cindy. Bill does transplant them into his gardens though. He just put about 8 of them outside his front door between this time and the last we were there.

We don't have ferns like that in our woods.

And, we don't have men like Bill in our neck of the woods!

That baby is such a sweetie! [Linked Image]

Isn't that "ornamental lettuce" really flowering kale/(cabbage)?

Thanx for sharing, Triss!

I am sure it is something along those lines Patty. I was not sure what all kinds of plants he had in that area. They looked really cool though!
