Thanks! Since our cake has sea shells on it, I thought the centerpieces should too, and the candle garden is much less expensive than flowers. Just try to image the candles lit!

Very pretty and elegant. Seashells, what a unique idea. what are the colours for your wedding? If you don't mind me asking.

Michele,
I was thinkin' about your candles...

Just curious... would a little bit of sand
down on top of the plate first and then squish in
all the candles and seashells, would add more of a oceany feel...
*and you've got something to throw on the candles and smoother it, if someone knocked it over*...

They've got some pretty colors for sand now adays, in those candle making kits I've seen..

I thought of using sand but decided against it as I am going to have the guests take home the candle garden centerpieces and sand would really be a problm for them to deal with. As it is, I am going to provide bags for the whole thing.

Also, the color are spring colors, but mostly blues and whites. Both my maid-of-honor and I are carrying orchids.
