I'm heading to work right now, but if we haven't heard from her by the time I get home around 2ish I will give her a call. She is probably unpacking, going to church, etc. She probably got about a foot of snow, but twas a light and fluffy snow and not much power/phone outages.......

Yeah, I agree...
She's been checking in at least at one
point of the day..... since she's back online...
And it's not like her to miss 2 days in a row....

Hi everyone ~ wavey

I'm just stopping by for a minute to let you all know I didn't mean to cause any undue alarm.

I'm just not feeling very well these days and with Maxi and his very NASTY gastro virus, we have been a bit swamped with health related stuff.

We didn't make it to church, either!

But today the kid managed to actually eat a small something. I fed him some plain noodles in clear chicken broth and hallelujah! it stayed put!! So he is on the mend.

I should be perking up here soon myself.

Thank God, I was worried sick that something happened. Sorry to hear you are under the weather, hope you get better quickly.

Funny how I worry more over my garden family than my real family. Maybe it's because I don't like alot of my real family.lol.

Hi everyone ~ wavey

Maxi was able to return to school today with a thermos of plain noodles and clear beef broth in his backpack, along with some applesauce. That's about all he can manage to eat these days. But since there was only Half Day today, I thought he would do okay in terms of his stamina, and he did just fine.

I am feeling a bit better myself today; keeping the chest pain at bay by pacing things. They've also made adjustments with my medications and that is helping as well.

LOTS is going on with my health in general these days but I can't really share much with you all at this point.

Tomorrow I see my primary team to find out more specifically some of the results of the MRI I had last week on the abdomen and pelvis. And, I'm waiting for another appointment with my nephrologist to get further information from him based on all his testing.

Meantime, I'm not speculating and trying hard not to stress. When the news comes, there will be time enough then to process the information and make decisions with careful consideration.

If any of you phone me, just remember it can take me a while to get to the phone. If the answering machine picks up, just spin out your message for as long as you can. Sometimes I just need those extra seconds to pick up.

Yes, Merme, the worring can cause more harm than some of the ailments...

Good to hear Maxi's a bit better, and you are pacing yourself..That was an aweful lot of work you all did and it's time to settle in, and do little bitty steps..

And put all of your worries on THE LORD, he's got bigger shoulders than you do!!! kissies angell

*got that lunch menu fixed up yet...
We're starvin' here, "don'tchya kin??"

Hi everyone ~

I was unable to get any accurate information concerning the MRI today. In fact, the whole thing turned into rather a mess.

1st, my ride to the appointment cancelled and I had to reschedule.

2nd, a nurse called me to give me the report over the phone. Immediately, she got snotty with me for cancelling the appointment without even knowing why. Then...

she went on to read a report that totally described an entirely different person! insisting all the while it was an accurate summary of me!!

If it had just been off in a minor way, that would have been one thing. But this report was so faulty it was lunacy to defend it as being accurate of me. When I commented that it couldn't possibly be my report, she was not the least bit willing to investigate further.

Was it a mix-up at the hospital where the test was run? Was it a secretarial foul up? Did the person who read the MRI and wrote the report misinterpret it? Was the nurse herself unskilled in understanding the report?

Unfortunately, the conversation took place too late in the day for me to contact anyone else, so this will have to wait until morning. Then I am going to contact the office manager of this office as well as the physician's office who ordered the exam.

There is something terribly amiss and we now have to track down the error.

Hello there Merme,
I'm so sorry you had a rough day my dahling!!!
I will never understand why a nurse or a secretary or even adoctor for that matter would argue with a patient.

I hope you get the accurate information soon.
