In regards to the originating thread 3 pages back – I do stained glass – I taught layout and design of leaded and tiffany style assembly including tiffany lamp construction for 16 years. I work on stained glass windows for some protégées churches here. I work in conjunction with other artists for the painting and firing and more sophisticated design then I do, I am an assembly tech so to speak and fire the glass or build the mould to slump a piece on. If it can be designed I can build it. I have a basic window in construction showing stages right here in the below link… http://www.writers-voice.com/Photo/pages/StainedglassThumbnails.htm
I did intend to put a blurb on the large photos describing the process that I think I will do now.
My favourite piece of my work is in a Ukrainian church in Calgary Alberta. http://www.writers-voice.com/Photo/pages/St_Vladimir.html
These two windows where created by Lori and I. They have real polished jewels in them.
