I would like to know if anyone has knowledge of a shape cutter for soft metals? I love making jewelry out of brass and copper. Instead of using tin snips to cut the pieces, I would prefer to use an instrument that would make the pieces more uniform, something along the lines of a paper hole punch. Any ideas?

Perhaps an industrial LASER? A tool and die shop might might be able to help you. It seems like to get a clean un warped cut some sort of hydraulic type press might be in order.
