Patty, that's so exciting that they'll be coming to see you guys! It's gonna be a great time I bet!!!!!!!! Lynne, I say :p to the cleaning too! I wish we could all have a big group visit! I do have a few members closeby...Buzzylady--she's pretty new...and DeepCreekLake....And Meg is a few hours away.  It's probably gonna take me all week Lynne to tidy the house up :p ...from top to bottom...I'm really picky about the house being clean when people visit. And he's bringing his new girlfriend....mom said she's scared to meet us....I remember that feeling....when I first met Marks family I was terrified...well actually I think I drank a few beers first to loosen myself up....

I'm going to try to make her feel as welcome as I can....she's nervous because she's a single mother with 3 kids....Paul doesn't have children, and doesn't really want any of his own. So I know she must be really special for him to get involved with her. If they married that would just make me an Aunt 3 more times! 3 more kids to spoil!

Patty - I didn't realize Triss was visiting so soon! I didn't either, till she told me when I talked to her on Friday night!  (I hardly slept that night, I was so excited!) Her kids have spring break the first week in April, so she's going to try to come down sometime then. She didn't think that Dan would be able to come too, though. I told her that was too bad, cuz Keith is going to feel out-numbered... but she reminded me that the kids would all be here, so at least he won't be bored! Hi everyone, is it safe to come in here??? I have not read but the last few pages and I OBVIOUSLY need to read back, that or someone needs to PLEASE FILL ME IN!
We are home and absolutely EXHAUSTED. We had a simply wonderful time at Bill's place and he is not only the perfect host but a wonderful man in general and he spoiled my kiddos rotten. His place is so much more beautiful in person than pictures can even begin to show. And contrary to popular belief, he is not older than dirt! I will be posting pics in a separate topic but give me until tomorrow or at the earliest once the kids go to bed. I have to get baths going here really soon but wantes to just pop in really quick.
And a special note to BILL... Thank you SO MUCH for having us all and showing us all over. We had such a good time and cannot wait to see you again the next time we are in town!

I have been getting the wierdest error messages the last few days on the forum. And, lots of times when I click on a post, to open it up to read, I am divereted to another site... selling vacs or ebay or what have you.
I have no idea why this is happening.

Tina ~ I had a brainstorm earlier today about taking my own pictures with Maxi's camera!
Why couldn't I use the camera for the pictures I want, and then give it to my friend Angel along with the special cable and software and let her upload them and send them to me? Her computer is much better than mine.

No, I have no virus, Lynne. It only happens here and the diversions to other sites are things that are advertized on the forum. I don't understand it, but it's been happening.
Yesterday when I tried to use instant graemlins, I got a message that said "This link takes you to an insecure site. Do you still wish to procede?" I clicked on yes and got the graemlins and everything posted fine.
But I haven't been able to get the graemlins much today.

Merme Merme...you have some spy stuff in your computer, or a trojan or something. It is not coming from this site...it's some advertising spy stuff thing that has gotten in your computer. It's so easy to get those...the other day I put a word in google to search for , and clicked on the first website on the page...and my virus detector thing started going off like fireworks...just getting on a website loaded my computer with a bunch of spyware and trojans... :rolleyes: TRISS! I am so tired.....but I cannot go to bed until you post some pictures.

K...you can have the beaters Cinja..she wants an Oreo Cokkie cake (with mint Oreos) It was my top selling cake at the bakery (not the mint though)so it is always the most requested cake I do..
It was WAY too cold here for yard work too Penny...wish it would warm up so I could get out in the yard...it looks pitiful out there...but we are suppose to start getting rain this afternoon...but they SAY it will warm up this week...we'll see about that!!!!

i raked our front lawn friday night and i spent the afternoon raking and cleaning the back yesturday, boy was it ever a mess but now its cleaned up, now i havr to get the 2 trees cut down out back, and then i can get started on the garden and flower box!!!!

Morning all,
Well I am alone for the moment- kids won't be here till 9:30... last I talked to Carrie- the baby was some better- they managed to get all the meds down him but wasn't easy- helped though.. now the 3 yr old is getting a cold too- never ends! I just came back inside from 2 1/2 glorious hours of cleaning up flower beds, finding spring bulbs starting to bloom, and cutting back a butterfly bush. From that 1 bush, I then planted 25 cuttings about 2-3 feet long, along the rock wall at the bottom of our backyard. If even only a few take root I'll be ecstatic! Better than just trashing them, right? It's still only about 35 degrees out there, but the sun is shining strongly, and it's supposed to be up near 50 later. I worked up a good sweat outside, and will shower after I clean up downstairs for Amy's flute teacher. I can tell I overextended the first time out, but it HURTS SO GOOD!!! (note to self... do not EVER take cold meds before going to bed because you REALLY REALLY know you are going to be wired alllllllll night long!!!) :p My drip has stopped though, and I'm feeling much better today - YEA! How's everyone doing today?

Well, Old Reliable wouldn't start this morning. Teddy and I walked the quarter mile plus to his bus stop. It isn't a battery thing. I'm hoping it's something simple. I don't think I drove it all weekend.

Hey Lynne...I'm heading out soon to cut down what's left of the hydrangeas.....usually I do that in the fall, but I slacked last year. :rolleyes: It's so nice and sunny too....not really warm but oh well, I'll just bundle up a bit!

Good Morning Nana and Lynne.. Sounds like a wonderful start to your day Lynne.. Ill be leaving here in about 2 hours to drive over to the VA hospital to spend the day, and again tomorrow..Jim has a 2 day Chem Stress Test. While hes doing that , Ill be visiting the Spinal Cord Injury unit with my Therapy Dog.

That is cool, Dusty. A friend wanted me to adopt her therapy dog a while back. To be friends to Ted. And because she was heavy into her rescue dog training. We weren't ready for another dog yet.

What a wonderful thing to do with your day too, Dusty! What kind of dog is the therapy one? I think it's such a good thing to bring furry lives into those who are ill - really takes their minds off of things for a bit, and offers unconditional love. loz - what are you shopping for today? Tina - was the walk ok?

Morning Penny Tess is the German Shepherd ..Shes the one I trained to assist Jim..I got her certified through TDI (Therapy Dogs Inc)and she always goes to the VA with us .. The guys in SCI just love her..

Hey there Penny and Tina! I'm shopping today at a place called Gabriel Brothers....they have brand name stuff really cheap....cheaper than TJ Maxx....It's a no thrills store...but huge. And they have a great household section that gets in outdoor stuff in the spring. Moms gotta take her Matrix to the dealership for a service, and we walk over while they work on her car.

I actually drove the golf cart over to feed the dogs. I do enough hiking up and down my hills doing the gardening. I'm going to borrow my daughters car to get my shopping done today. If she's amenable.

G'Morning all! did anyone geta chance to get any yard work done over the weekend??? Keith mowed the lawn! It's only about a 12X18' patch, that we planted way last spring, but it was pretty abundant & some of the glass types that I don't like were starting to flower-up, so it was time. I wish that "extra" stuff would die off, cuz it's not the type I want to have in my "lawn"... but it also has a traveling root structure that weed & feed doesn't even kill. Oh well, at least it's green! (Plus, it was nice to see Keith out of the recliner!!) :p I'm glad that you felt good enough to get outside & putter around, Lynne, & I hope you continue to improve. Maybe you can get some more stuff done out there after your appointments this morning. The Sun is out & not many clouds, so Mariann & I will be out there cleaning up flower beds today. I've been waiting to do that, all Winter!

Mornin Penny, Lynnie, Dusty and Tamara..(I probably missed somebody, sorry)
Went to the storage building...took one look at the boxes and shut the door..NO WAY am I gonna dig through that stuff today!!! So, I am going to TRY to make frosting with my hand mixer...will probably burn it up doing so but..I am not weeding through all those boxes!
It is VERY cloudy here, getting ready to rain..I am so ready for some sunny days!

they are calling for +14 here on thursday and friday Let me see... +14C is almost 58F, so it looks like you might be officially getting into spring... It's about time, huh? I've already bought the fertilizer for the new lawn, but I'm not sure when it'll be time to put it on. (When I bought it, about 6 weeks ago, somebody told me it was too soon.) Guess I better look it up. I wonder what makes it "too soon".
