Today when I got home my Sister called and asked me if I got a box delivered??! HMMMMM Let me go see Duh
Well I opened the front door and there sat a box, from her. Still on the phone she told me it for My Daughter that had a boy -Julian on May 1.
Loooook!! Look what she made for Julian..!!
I told her his nursery was decorated with Winnie the Pooh and she gets after 'it on her sewing machine and made him this!!
It has Blue stripes on one side, yellow stripes on the other side and is just Darling!
She even embroidered his name and Date of birth,, I thought his name was appliqued on but she did this on her machine COOOOOOOOOLLLL!
(The machine is cool too}

My Daughter Jasmine will love this from her Auntie!! kissies
I will give it to her tomarrow!!..
Thanks Sis for making My grandson's first Quilt! kissies

Thanks,Sis, for putting this out for all to see.
I hope my niece loves it! wink

Yes, his name is embroidered on, not appliqued. The quilt was made with a serger and the only parts done on a sewing machine were the embroidery and the blue border.

This quilt was quick and easy but, as your older and wiser sister, I'll never tell you that! angell

As the older and wiser sister, I must admit my talents may be different than my sister's but not necessarily better.

Ahhhhh Shucks Jiffy shocked

This family we have here is Pretty darn special too that's why we feel comfortable sharing our surprises and complimenting each others talents alllll over here.

I can't wait to see Jasmine' face tomarrow , she will be sooo pleased ,, Btw Julian's eyes are truely a dark Blue almost like a deep clear ocean blue. And we have found when he gets upset for no appearent reason the only way to get him to calm him down is to pick him up and take him outside even if it's just stepping outside the door He calms down, stops crying and is content.

HMMMM could it be he takes after his Grandma Didi
the love of outdoors???Hmmmmmm grinnnn
