OP mike57 Member Joined: Nov 2004 alabama	hi i got some cuttings from this plant. i need to know what it needs to grow.the cuttings have rooted. i need to know if it needs full sun or shade.wet area or just moist.i know this plant blooms pink with white striped blooms on it.also would like to know how big theses get.any help would be greatly apperciated.anyone know what the correct name of this color is? thank your friend in gardening.mike57

papito Member P Joined: Jul 2003 Northern California, Zone 9b	weigela [Deciduous shrub]. Based on your description, it is probably W. florida (W. rosea). Fast growth to 8-10 ft. tall. flowers pink to rose red. Needs full sun to partial shade. Moderate water. For more info see Wiegela Florida
