Sadness is

A mirror, broken, reflecting slivers
Echoing lost jewels, tarnished
Cracked fragments, open wounds
Empty silences, red air bleeds
Living together, alone
Magic carpets swept under rugs
Remembering, forgetting, feeling
Everything, nothing

Sadness is

A clock ticking, hearing lost blinks
Blue breathing, gasping
Cold, odorless, spaces of ice
Dreary eyes leaking pain puddles
Motionless moments, frozen
Time, handless holding

Sadness is

A wallflower, saving dances
The dance card fills with tomorrows
The same song, never changing
A broken record skips years
Waiting to dance

Sadness is

Ending, without ever beginning

Angie !! You just put in writing how I have felt for last 5 years ters How did you do that?

If it hadn't been for two people I wouldn't be here right now. One is my granddaughter Bethany the other one of the dearest and best friends any man could have my friend Patsy. Thank you for writing what I felt but could not put into words.

Jimmy kissies Thank you

Dianna and Triss and Shirley,Thanks:-)

I wrote that in 2002,a few other poets and I wrote several peices and did a cd for a childrens organization for the disability and the arts.

I love poetry and art and it makes me feel great when someone can feel something after reading or seeing it.Then it becomes there own..Thanks

is a condition,
not a profession. "
