I swear, I've laughed out loud about this all day. njoynit has made many trips to the post office looking for this for a month now, and I'm sittin' here eating her Slim Jims!

Well, she doesn't need it now anyway!

...and it just saved me a trip into town for some tuna!



I've been singing "Return To Cinja...address unknown...no such number...no such zone".
At least that song finally got Catlover's "ring, ring, ring" :p out of my head!

That's the funny part...it made it there...and sat in the post office for almost a month...but they didn't tell her it was there. It was marked "Unclaimed". She doesn't know I have it back ...she's still waiting for it!

looking at what was shipped-it is quite a differant assortment of food. What was going on? survival rations? where was the jim beam?

All those foods in your picture?That is a great idea to keep those kinds of things in your pantry.

Just in case the power goes out awhile.Reminds me of when we lost power for 10 days due to an ice storm.

I sent it to my forum friend (njoynit) after hurricane Rita hit...she didn't have electricity.
But, she never got it...and they eventually sent it back to me.

No way I was sending her my Jim Beam!

Been there, done that 13 days. :p
If my power goes out I always have enough cat food to keep me alive if it comes down to that.

SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I TOLD you idiots ran my PO....and their family members work for the SBC phone& Sam Houston Electric(Trish is now on day 45 with no power.The last 5 days they tell her someone will be out 1st thing in the morning)

So cindy-Faye.....does the PO have a complaint section????I'm glad your enjoying hubbys cashews& my slim jims.I'm still munching on spagetti& ravaoli from my fema/MRE days.but its not hot enough to cook in the sun anymore....but microwave works now.& if my dam phone don't work better soon............(I can not say here what will do to them,but they won't like it& it won't have rubber gloves)

the post office drives me crazy. I mailed my mom a letter once (she lives like 17 miles from here) and I was working alot and needed to tell her something, can never get her on the phone, so I mail a letter to her, it takes 10 days for her to get it, when she does get it it's been post marked in SD
